Between Bastia and Porto-Vecchio, the Costa Verde offers the closest proximity to the sea and mountains on the eastern coast. A long stretch of coastline bordered by a magnificent sandy beach extending as far as the eye can see, the Costa Verde is a paradise for relaxation and water sports. It is also the ideal region for lovers of beauty and nature; its hinterland, a veritable balcony overlooking the sea, is certainly worth exploring.
The small road of the corniche in Costa Verde overlooks the sea and leads in particular to the ”Buccatoghju” waterfall which, in addition to swimming, proves to be a perfect adventure ground for fans of thrills.
A secluded beach is located approximately 300m from the residence.
The Taverna (or Campoloro) marina, where you will find boat rentals with or without a license, a grocery store (very friendly!), bars and restaurants, a fishmonger, a diving club, is 200m away.
The UCPA is a 2-minute walk from the residence, offering paid water sports activities (catamaran, fun boat). The town of Moriani-Plage, with its supervised beach, shops, and all amenities (doctor, hairdresser, tourist office, etc.), is approximately 3 km away.
Discovering the Castagniccia region with its villages and missionary chapels means entering the heart of authentic Corsica, encountering its culture and traditions. In summer, the Castagniccia, with its beech and chestnut forests, is a refreshing haven for hiking enthusiasts.
The residence is located at the foot of the Castagniccia. Several hiking trails in the Castagniccia begin near the entrance of the residence, including the long-distance hiking trail “Mare a Mare”.
Cervione, a stunning village perched on the mountainside, is a 5-minute drive away. Many other magnificent places can be visited on day trips by car: Cap Corse, Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, the beautiful beaches of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia…
